The Energy of Chukyo
In Chukyo high school, there were school festivals on September 25 to 26. The day was sunny, and we could hear the laughter and music from the leycold.
Each class and club put great effort on making creative displays and presentations, and the school was filled with energy. There was a stage at a laycold, where we could watch people dancing, singing and a brass band performance enjoyed by the audience. Each class put on unique displays, and every classroom was crowded with people.
My movie theater
At my class, we made a movie theater. We made a movie by ourselves. It included “WEDNESDAY DOWNTOWN” and “a school horror movie”. My job was acting in the movies and decorating my class room. It was a really fresh experience. At the Preparations, we had a hard discussion and we created a good exhibition. We stayed late after school to finish decorations and film a movie. When it was finished,we all celebrated together. I was so happy to see some of the visitors smiling and saying things like “Wow!” or “That was scary!”. The junior high school students who came to see it also seemed to enjoy themselves, and I was glad I worked so hard. The best part of making a scary movie was to see a scared audience face after watching the movie.
Class 2-K
Another class also had a unique attraction. Class 2-K’s theme was “Haunted House,”and the creative performance in the darkness of the classroom amazed visitors.
Honestly, in my opinion, 2-K was the best attraction. The classroom had been utilized by making a tunnel, using black plastic paper. So many creepy amulets were decorated in the tunnel. There was a mechanism designed to shock people. Through this, it was actually scary and shocked so many visitors.
Class 3-D
There was also my favorite one. Class 3-D’s theme was Exit 8. It was a really creative attraction. In the darkly lighted classroom, creepy sounds and videos played, giving me the feeling of being in the middle of a movie. I actually got to enter the “underground passage” myself to search for strange happenings. It was a bit scary, but very realistic and enjoyable. The small details were quite good, and it was so popular that visitors formed long lines.
Finally
It was one of the most memorable events at the school festival. Those two days were full of laughter, creativity display and attractions.
Each one of the students made the Chukyo High School Festival an unforgettable memory.
