AiNA THE END is a Japanese singer and performer who has attracted many fans with her unique voice and emotional expressiveness. She originally began her career as a member of the female idol group BiSH, and has since become the face of BiSH, which was founded on the concept of a “punk band without instruments”. Aina’s vocals played a major role in the music and contributed greatly to the group’s success.
She has since become a solo artist, expanding her range to express deeper emotions and individuality. Recognized for her distinctive low-pitched husky voice and expressive performance style, she has actively participated in collaborations with other artists and has developed her musical activities in a variety of genres.
In the 2021 release of Sing2, she played the role of the wolf Portia Crystal, a role that was a perfect fit for her husky voice and earned her critical acclaim.
In September of this year, she successfully performed at the Nippon Budokan, a dream she was unable to fulfill during her time in BiSH. This is a testament to her musical talent and recognition, and we look forward to seeing more of her in the future.
She also won the “Best New Actor” award at the 47th Japan Academy Awards, a Japanese film festival, for her performance in her first movie “Kirie’s Song,” which was released last October 2023. She is expanding her activities not only as a musician but also as an actor.
Among her many wonderful songs, I would like to introduce my favorites. The title of the song is “Kienaide” which means “Do not disappear”.
This song was her solo debut song, which she wrote and composed for her best friend when she was 18 years old. I love the lyrics of this song as I can relate to them. Many of her songs are not positive, but what’s appealing about them is that they are comforting without being encouraging. Please listen to her songs.
