Ice hockey

〈charm〉
Each ice hockey team may have 22 players (including 2 goalkeepers) on the bench. The duration of the game is three sets of 20-minute periods, and players may change freely. Because the sport is physically demanding, the same members (three forwards and two defensemen) play on the ice for less than one minute at most. The timing of substitutions and other bench work to maximize the performance of the players is also a highlight of the event.In addition, brawls sometimes occur, and in order to maintain a high level of performance for 60 minutes, players are required to have speed, intensity, strong mental strength, as well as foresight and intelligence in their play. Ice hockey has a strong image of intensity, power, and speed, but its appeal lies in its many unexpected highlights, such as the speedy development of the game, which changes dramatically depending on instantaneous decision-making and precise strategy.
〈Face-off〉
At the face-off spot on the rink, players from both teams face each other and take the puck dropped by the referee with their sticks. This is done at the start of the game and whenever play is resumed.
〈Scoring〉
A goal is scored when the puck completely crosses the goal line, which is 5cm wide. A point is scored even if the puck hits any part of the body, not just the stick. However, if the puck is intentionally thrown or kicked in with skates, no goal is scored.
