<Rule>
Volleyball is a sport in which two teams hit the ball over the net to score points. The ball must be hit back to the opponent’s court within three balls. Basically, the ball is hit with the hands and arms, but it is acceptable to use the feet or other parts of the body for all plays except the serve.

<Court size and number of people>
The volleyball court is an 18 x 9 meter rectangle. The court for each team is 9 x 9 meters with a net in the center.
 The height of the net varies according to age and gender, but is 2.43 meters for general men and 2.24 meters for general women.
 The number of players allowed to participate in a match is limited to 6 players on the court plus up to 6 replacement members for a total of 12 players in a 6-player volleyball match. As a rule, players may be substituted up to six times per set (one substitution counts as one time).

<Scoring and winning conditions>
Volleyball uses a rule called the “rally point system. During a “rally” in which a serve (service) is received and tossed or spiked back to the opponent, points (scores) are awarded when one’s own team decides to attack or when the opposing team makes a mistake.
 Whether or not you have the right to serve has no bearing on the score.
Then, when a player wins 25 points first, he or she wins a set. When both teams are tied at 24 points, a “deuce” is played, and the set continues until one of the teams leads by two points.
 International tournaments are basically played in a five-set match, with the team that wins the first three sets winning, with the rule that only the final five sets are played with a 15-point lead.

<The position>
The positions for each role are divided into five main categories: outside hitter (OH), middle blocker (MB), opposite (OP), setter (S), and libero (L).

 Outside hitter (OH)
 The central position, sometimes called the wing spiker.

 Middle Blocker (MB)
 This position centers and is the center of the block. It also participates in quick attacks.

 Opposite Player (OP)
 Positioned opposite the setter, the role of the opposing player is to actively join the attack and try to score points.

 Setter (S)
 This is the position that gives the friendly toss to the players and plays a commanding role on the court.

 Libero (L)
 This position is dedicated to defense. The libero and the rear guard can be switched as many times as needed.
